The basic problem you have is that after you register a new domain, you must then configure the domain properly to "point" at a website. Until you do that, GoDaddy will continue to show a "parked" page full of ads. The parked page is just a place holder until your website is available.

There are several steps you will have to take before you can see own website:

    1. Hosting - An internet host is a company/service that holds the content (html files, etc) of your website site. There are thousands of companies that do this. There is free hosting like DevHub.COM that comes with a built-in Website designer. There is also paid hosting like DreamHost.com. GoDaddy also sells hosting.

    2. Configure DNS Records - Once you have a host for your web content, you use the GoDaddy control panel to configure your DNS records. This basically tells the Registrar (GoDaddy) where to find the web content (on your host). This step is fairly technical, but pretty easy once you've done it a few times. Basically your host will provide you with DNS addresses (that look like IP addresses) that you then enter into the GoDaddy control panel. It can take up to 48 hours for the DNS records to update.

    3. Create Website Content - At this point, a web browser that visits your domain will see a blank page. This is where the fun starts: You get to create content! Content is just files like images, html files, and javascript. How you do so depends a lot on the hosting that you end up choosing.

GoDaddy technical support is very good, and they can also help you if you want to talk to a live person.

    Good luck

Was this an existing site, or a new site? Not clear from question.
