What are the best techniques for marketing a .NET domain to an end user?

I have a few good .NET domains that I want to sell to end user (mostly single word, keyword domains). The problem I run into is that most people would prefer the .COM -- and would rather having nothing.

What sales techniques work for selling .NET domains to end users? How do I convince them that the .NET is worthwhile?
